Ibiza (ee-bee-thah) was once a virtually unknown and unvisited island; Majorca, its bigger neighbor, got all the business. But in the 1950s, Ibiza's art colony began to thrive, and in the 1960s it became the European resort most favored by the flower children. A New York art student once wrote, "Even those who come to Ibiza for the 'wrong' reason (to work!) eventually are seduced by the island's easy life. Little chores like picking up the mail from the post office stretch into daylong missions."
the Island has went through many changes since then and is now a middle class resort island offering everything you could imagine. , . The area has still full of charm and below is Sitars home that has been in the family for over 600 years!
We will be sailing from here for the month of Oct doing day trips around the Island, yoga classes, meditation and massage, raw foods along with Gourmet foods.
You are
invited to a week long Yoga/Sailing retreat on the island of Ibiza for
seven nights from October 8th through the 14th.

Barbara Sloan and Richard Brookens will both teach Yoga classes drawing on
Vinyasa, Sivananda, and Kundalini practices. Richard will also provide live
music (percussion and bamboo flutes) for some of Barbara's classes. The entire
week will include daily evening Meditations, daily sailing trips into the
beautiful Mediterranean Sea and to surrounding Islands, healthy food, and some
group drumming (bring your drums), providing you the opportunity for relaxation,
rejuvenation, and bliss.
All on the magical island of Ibiza located off the southern coast of
Spain!
We will stay in Sitar's house that is on top of a mountain overlooking the
Mediterranean Sea. This house has been in her family for 600 years!

There will also be daily trips with Ram on his four cabin Catamaran Yacht (some
can choose to stay at night on the Yacht). Breakfast and lunch will also be
provided daily along with bikes to tour the island.
This wonderful opportunity is limited to 10 very special people. When we
receive deposits from 5 or more people we will be able to negotiate a cheaper
price with Iberia airlines. To book your own flight right now is running $898.
In addition to the flight the total cost of the trip will be $2,300.00 per
person. The accommodations and 2 meals a day plus all the activities mentioned
above are included.
